We are seeking a talented Junior Data Scientist to join our remote team based in India. The successful candidate will work closely with our international clients, primarily located in Europe and North America, to analyze data, develop models, and provide valuable insights. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with international clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources to extract actionable insights.
Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address specific business challenges.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and analysis.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning.
Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality results consistently.
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and within a remote team environment.
Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a remote or international setting.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques is advantageous.
