About the role

The Event Producer is part of our programming and curation team. This is a varied role, no two days will be the same. You might be programming shows and content for a festival, developing engaging agendas and content for a brand activation, show calling an opening ceremony or curating the perfect blend of F&B and retail vendors for an event.

Specifically, the Event Producer should:

  • Be a natural storyteller. The key to success in this role is to understand what the client wants, what their audience need, and putting together a program that draws people in, engages them, resonates and communicates, creating unforgettable experiences.
  • Be curious, an explorer, always looking for the latest trends, fashions, technology and hot topics.
  • Understand audiences, and be able to engage them in their language, whether that’s VIPs attending a launch event or thrill seekers at a festival.
  • Actively contribute to our programming and curation team, encouraging fresh thinking and creativity.
  • Network and engage with strategic partners, creating long-lasting relationships.
  • Create and maintain a database of content partners.
  • Ensure programming is developed in line with available budgets, and identify opportunities to create revenue opportunities from content elements.
  • Work closely with our wider team, aligning with event creative and strategy, technical production, project management, sponsorship and marketing, collaborating to enhance the event experience and build value for our clients.
  • Attend our events and manage content partners on site, ensuring our programming and content is delivered to the highest standards.
  • Play an active role in post event debriefs and reporting to continually learn and develop our services and skills.

About you

You should be:

  • An experienced Event Manager or Producer ready to take the next step in your career.
  • Able to demonstrate your previous success creating and developing engaging programmes and content.
  • Professional, independent and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills.
  • Able to understand commercial aspects of a project including cost and revenue streams, how to balance them, and how to deliver a positive P&L.
  • Familiar with marketing and sponsorship, and how to use them to add value to a project.
  • Able to present with confidence and presence.
  • Comfortable with local culture in the UAE, and how to integrate it into content and programming.
  • Knowledgeable about event content and programming, and how to use it to engage audiences.

As a minimum, you should have:

  • 5+ year’s event management experience, with a focus on content and programming.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Your application will be stronger if:

  • You have previous experience in fashion, beauty, retail, F&B or festivals.
  • You understand current culture, fashion, technology and retail trends.
  • Your personal brand is current and relevant.
  • You can stage manage and / or show call.
  • You understand the importance of social media, content creation and how to use it to amplify audience engagement.
  • You can speak, read and write Arabic.
