• Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Linux Operating System Engineer to manage maintain and support enterprise Linux infrastructure across both OnPremises Data Centers and AWS Cloud environments The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux RHEL 8 administration automation troubleshooting infrastructure operations and IT Service Management processes utilizing ITIL best practices and ServiceNow

• Key Responsibilities
• Administer maintain and support RHEL 8 servers in both OnPremises and AWS environments
• Perform Linux server provisioning configuration patching upgrades and lifecycle management
• Manage system performance capacity planning and availability to ensure compliance with service level agreements SLAs
• Monitor infrastructure health and proactively address performance bottlenecks and operational risks
• Troubleshoot complex Linux OS application storage and networkrelated issues
• Implement OS hardening security controls vulnerability remediation and compliance requirements
• Manage AWSbased Linux workloads including EC2 instances EBS storage security groups and cloud networking components
• Collaborate with application database network and security teams to resolve incidents and support business services
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash Python or Ansible to streamline operational tasks
• Support backup recovery disaster recovery and highavailability solutions
• Execute change incident problem and request management activities in accordance with ITIL processes
• Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking change implementation problem management and service requests
• Create and maintain operational documentation technical procedures and knowledge base articles
• Participate in oncall support and major incident management activities as required
