Specialist - Cloud Engineering

• Role AWS Infra Devops engineer with AWS experience
• In this role you will
• Define implement and maintain AWS infrastructure solutions for and 3rd party applications
• Be an integral member of the application team looking after these applications
• To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements
• A university degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Proficiency in AWS Infrastructure creation and management using Terraform
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience as an AWS Full Stack Engineer

Extensive AWS expertise on components such as EC2 S3 Lambda VPC RDS IAM AWS Transfer family CloudFormation CloudWatch Containerization DockerKubernetes Fargate Docker Mongo DB ALB Document DB and ECS tasks preferably in the way that these components are preconfigured in as part of approved integration patterns

• Extensive experience in troubleshooting issues in setup networkfirewall security and load balancing on AWS
• At least 5 years of experience in programming languages with a preference for Python Java
• Proficiency in database management including setting up databases in AWS cloud and developing database scripts
• Proficiency in various scheduling mechanisms ControlM both onpremise and cloudbased
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team
• A strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices including code optimization scalability and performance
• Preferred Skills

Proven AWS experience as AWS infra dev ops in demonstrating familiarity with approved AWS design patterns and understanding of preconfiguration of the various AWS services is a strong preference

• Proficiency in interfacing MQ and Sterling File Gateway on AWS
• Proficiency in designing developing and deploying solutions using automated deployment pipelines and integrating deployments with Ansible Automation
• Familiarity with Confluence JIRA and ServiceNow
• Additional Skills
• Strong backend engineering skills using Spring Boot Microservices and AWS
• Demonstrable experience in designing cloud solutions using a mix of cloudnative thirdparty and onpremise technologies
