In this role, you will be responsible for participating in the configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of Advance Compensation, Core Compensation, Talent & Performance, Workday Recruiting and Human Capital Management (HCM) module solutions. You will work closely with HR, Talent Management, & Recruiting stakeholders to understand HR processes and ensure the effective use of Workday to meet the organization’s needs.

 

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Participating in Implementation, Configuration and continued support: 

Core Compensation & Advanced Compensation: -

    • Participate in the configuration and continued maintenance of the Workday Compensation, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, & HCM modules (Core HR) according to business requirements.
    • Configure core and advanced compensation structures, including compensation packages, Compensation element, grades, grade profiles, eligibility rules, and Compensation plans (Salary, Period, Unit, Hourly, Allowance, commission plan, Stock, Merit, One-time Payment Plan, Future Payment Plans).
    • Bonus plan with Scorecard – (Company Funding Scorecard, Plan Modifier Scorecard & Compensation Scorecard).
    • SME in configuring compensation grid, Compensation Matrix, Compensation review process, Compensation statement, managing new and existing plans while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.
    • Expertise stock grants and updates, Processing Bonus Events, One-time payments, Future payments, consolidated Merits.
    • Integrate Performance review with compensation review process.
    • Perform regular compensation audits.
    • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, validations, notifications, and Custom reports.

    • Hands on experience in configuring and creating Goals, Feedback, Development Plans, Talent attributes (Potential Assessments, skills and Experience, Career Interest and Mobility, Talent attributes on the Job profile).
    • Potential Assessments (Achievable Level, Loss Impact, Potential, Retention).
    • Skills and Experience, Skills Cloud, Interest and Mobility (Career Preferences, Travel Amount & Relocation areas) and Competencies (Proficiency scales & Association with job attributes).
    • Career Development (Job and career interest, Opportunity Graph, Mentorships).
    • Hands on experience in configuring and maintaining Talent Review Templates, Launch and complete a Talent Review, Employee review template, Calibration, nBox Report, Succession planning, Performance Improvement plan.
    • Support ongoing system enhancements, patches, and updates in Workday Release (R1 and R2)
  • Manage and maintain Workday modules (Advanced Compensation, Talent Management and Performance, Recruiting, HCM, Benefits).
  • Serve as SME for Workday Core & Advanced Compensation, supporting HR, Talent Management teams, and business leaders with functional expertise and system best practice.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Workday system, ensuring minimal disruption to HR processes.
  • Process Improvement: 
    • Collaborate with HR teams to streamline processes and optimize the use of Workday modules. 
    • Provide recommendations for best practices and solutions based on business needs.
    • Configure and optimize Workday Recruiting & HCM modules including Hiring Business Processes, Candidate Reviews, and Security Modeling to align with business requirements.

 

 

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: 
    • Lead system testing for new configurations, features, and updates to ensure the system is functioning as expected. 
    • Perform end-user testing and validate system processes after updates or changes. 
  • User Training & Documentation: 
    • Develop training materials and provide training sessions to HR staff and other end users. 
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation of Workday configurations, processes, and procedures. 
  • Collaboration with IT & External Vendors: 
    • Work with IT and other stakeholders to ensure proper system integration with other HR and business systems. 
    • Collaborated with cross-functional teams across Recruiting, global compensation, Core HCM, and Security to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
    • Liaise with Workday support teams or external vendors to resolve technical issues or implement new features. 
  • Data Management & Reporting: 
    • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics in Workday to provide HR and business leaders with relevant insights. 
    • Ensure data integrity within the Workday Recruiting & HCM systems and perform regular audits.
    • Ensure that all quality requirements described in the QMS manuals are followed and any changes, as necessary, are reported through the change management procedure for continual improvement.

Basic Requirements: 

  • Master’s degree in human resources, Business, IT, or a related field. 
  • 5 years of experience working with Workday HCM modules, in Core and Advance Compensation, Talent & Performance, Benefits, Core HCM, Security, Learning, Recruiting, Reporting, Dashboard, Hubs, Business Process, EIB, Integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, security, and reporting. 
  • Experience with Workday upgrades and patch management is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR business processes and best practices. 
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics). 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with HR, IT, and business teams. 
  • Workday HCM certification (e.g., Core HCM) is preferred. 
  • Experience with Workday integrations or third-party HR systems. 
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and regulations.
