M42 is seeking a Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition to lead the global talent acquisition agenda. This is a role with global responsibility for TA strategy, operating model, technology, AI adoption, governance, and performance outcomes, alongside direct leadership accountability for the Talent Acquisition team across the UAE and Bahrain. The role will build a world-class, scalable, and digitally enabled TA function that supports business growth, critical skills delivery, nationalization objectives, and workforce transformation in a highly regulated, staff intensive and multinational environment.

Responsibilities

Global Talent Acquisition Leadership

  • Set and lead the global TA roadmap and operating model aligned with business and workforce priorities and needs.
  • Establish global TA policies, governance frameworks, and standards, ensuring consistent execution across our global regions.
  • Own and be accountable for company wide TA outcomes, including time to hire, quality of hire, critical skills availability, nationalization targets, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead global employer branding and EVP strategy to strengthen attraction in competitive talent markets.

UAE & Bahrain Talent Acquisition

  • Provide direct leadership and oversight of TA delivery across the UAE and Bahrain, addressing local market and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner closely with regional and country leadership to anticipate workforce needs and ensure timely hiring of clinical, technical, and leadership talent.
  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, nationalization frameworks, regulatory requirements, and data privacy obligations.
  • Lead a high-performing TA team in the UAE and Bahrain, embedding consistent processes, technology, and governance.

Business Partnership & Workforce Strategy

  • Co-own and architect the global TA strategy with the Group CHCO, ensuring full alignment with the broader Human Capital and business strategy.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior executives on workforce planning, talent availability, and hiring risk.

Technology, Analytics & AI

  • Own the global TA technology roadmap (ATS, CRM, assessments, onboarding).
  • Lead the responsible adoption of AI and advanced analytics across sourcing, screening, matching, and workforce planning.
  • Establish a data-driven TA operating model with enterprise dashboards, predictive insights, and robust reporting.
  • Set standards for ethical AI, data privacy, fairness, explainability, and regulatory compliance.

Leadership, Budget & Vendors

  • Hold authority over global TA budgets, technology investments, and recruitment vendors.

    Directly oversee executive-level hiring across the M42 Group, including senior leadership and critical roles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent certification advantageous.
  • 10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience from an international environment, including senior leadership roles at global level.
  • Proven success designing and scaling global TA operating models.
  • Experience leading large-scale TA digitization and transformation initiatives.
  • Practical exposure to AI-enabled hiring tools and workforce analytics platforms.
  • Experience in regulated, staff intensives and complex environments; healthcare sector experience preferred.
  • Strategic, commercially minded TA leader with strong executive presence.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with a clear focus on outcomes and value.
  • Strong governance mindset, particularly in compliance, data privacy, and ethical AI.
  • Able to lead change at scale and influence senior stakeholders globally.
