QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and develop test cases.
• Execute test cases, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, log, and track bugs, defects, and issues in the bug tracking system.
• Perform manual and automated testing as needed.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and testing standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality.
• Provide detailed reports on testing progress and results.
• Participate in test planning and review sessions.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with manual testing; knowledge of automated testing tools is a plus.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or Java.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to bug tracking systems like JIRA or similar tools.
