We are seeking a talented individual to join our Quality team at Marsh. This role will be based in Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
Specialist - Quality Assurance
Were seeking for an individual who is ready to work with complex & diverse insurance work. This role focuses on carrying out QA and monitoring reviews to ensure business activities comply with group policies, procedures, and market practices in insurance and reinsurance placements. It involves interpreting contract clauses and reviewing policy wordings to assess coverage, scope, and limitations, while identifying any procedural gaps and recommending practical remedial actions. The role also requires effective use of Marsh systems for monitoring and record-keeping, along with supporting the wider business through training, process improvement, and ad hoc quality assurance projects.
We will count on you to:

• Undertake QA/ Monitoring reviews in line with Group policies and procedures and suggest corrective actions/remedial measures to business.
• Interpret clauses of insurance and reinsurance contracts with specific emphasis on scope, coverage and limitations.
• Understand group & company procedures and monitor compliance in terms of the business placed by the group
• Review and compare policy wordings across different classes of business to advice business with regards to scope and limitations of cover
• Recommend pragmatic and effective remedial measures to business for addressing any procedural breaches caused during the placement process
• Understand market practices which impact the broking activities and align audit/review methodology to reflect commercial realities.
• Appropriate usage of Marshs systems for conducting reviews and monitoring and recording information, ensuring that systems are correctly used during the process.
• Build expertise within the team by conducting process and product trainings for various Marsh businesses.
• Take up various Adhoc projects to support additional QA requirements from business and stakeholders.
  

What you need to have:

• 3+ years of experience in operations in Insurance Quality Assurance or Operations
• Understanding of insurance and/or Quality Assurance sectors
• Shift Timing – 12.30 pm to 9.30 pm
  

What makes you stand out

• Qualification or certification in insurance ACII or FIII or CPCU (or other equivalent qualification in other geographies) would be a clear added advantage.
