About the job Job Title: Junior Data Analyst Intern (Excel, SQL, Power BI) Company: Medinex Workforce Location: India Workplace Type: Remote Employment Type: Full-time internship Duration: 1 to 3 months Stipend: INR 16,500 per month Why this role exists At Medinex Workforce, a lot of decisions rest on numbers: candidate pipelines, placement timelines, client requirements, team performance. We need someone who can sit with that data, ask why a figure moved, and come back with an answer the team can act on. As a Junior Data Analyst Intern, that person is you. You will work on real business data from your first week, and the reports you build will be read by the people making decisions. Your day-to-day - Clean messy spreadsheets and database exports so the numbers can be trusted - Write SQL queries to pull the exact data the team asks for - Build dashboards in Power BI and structured reports in Excel - Track key metrics every week and point out unusual dips or spikes - Check for duplicates, blanks and wrong entries before anything is shared - Send a short weekly note explaining what changed and the likely reason - Join team check-ins to understand which questions the data should answer You are a good fit if - You are comfortable with Excel formulas, pivot tables and lookups - You know basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, filters) - You have used Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio, even on practice data - You can explain a finding in plain, simple English - You are careful and double-check your work - You have a laptop and a stable internet connection for full-time remote work Nice to have, not required - Basic Python with Pandas - A dashboard or analysis project you built on your own Who can apply - Final-year students and recent graduates from any stream, including B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, MCA, MBA and others - Self-taught learners who can show their skills through a project or certificate - Freshers are welcome, and prior work experience is not required - You must be available to work full-time for the internship period What you get - Work on live business data instead of textbook samples - Regular feedback and guidance from experienced team members - Dashboards and reports you can show in future interviews - Internship completion certificate - The freedom to work from your own city anywhere in India Working schedule Full-time, Monday to Saturday or as assigned by your reporting manager, with daily check-ins and a weekly review.
