Role Description

This is an internship role for a Healthcare Data Analyst Trainee with MedTourEasy. As a trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the analysis of healthcare data to improve operational efficiency and clinical outcomes. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze data, generate and test hypotheses, and develop actionable insights. This is a remote role, which provides flexible working hours and an opportunity to contribute to the healthcare industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analysis, or other relevant fields of study
• Experience conducting data analysis and working with large datasets with SQL, Python, R or similar programming languages
• Understanding of the Healthcare industry and healthcare data standards such as HL7, ICD, SNOMED, and CPT
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail with a passion for accuracy in reporting and analysis
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain organized records of work
• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R or similar languages for data analysis and machine learning
• Experience working in a healthcare environment producing reports and analysis is a plus
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the internship
