HR Recruiter

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting plans to meet the staffing needs of the company, with a specific focus on real estate positions for inhouse hiring.
• Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees to find passive candidates.
• Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives.
• Conduct interviews and filter candidates for open real estate roles, including conducting initial phone screens.
• Manage posting of job openings at college career services, conduct campus recruiting, and work with agencies and external recruiters for real estate positions.
• Develop a pool of qualified candidates for real estate roles in advance of need through various sourcing strategies.
• Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements in the real estate sector.
• Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
• Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
• Assist in writing and forwarding rejection letters.
• Help plan and coordinate the companys internship program.
• Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting real estate professionals that fits within the companys mission and values.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven candidate sourcing and relationship-building skills, particularly in the real estate industry.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in negotiation, interviewing, and selection processes.
