Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Coimbatore. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, monitoring payments, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role will also involve maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with relevant standards, and preparing basic financial reports for management. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and procurement teams to track costs, ensure proper documentation, and support audits and regulatory filings as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Experience using accounting or ERP software and good skills in spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, taxation basics, and compliance requirements applicable to manufacturing or industrial businesses.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in financial documentation, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with production, procurement, and management teams.
• Ability to work independently on-site, handle confidential information responsibly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications or experience in manufacturing finance are an advantage.
• Previous experience in an industrial or fabrication setting is preferred but not mandatory.
