Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled D365 FSCM Developer (F&O Technical) to join our team for a Canada-based client engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) development, customization, integrations, and data migration. This role requires expertise in X++, Dual Write, and Data Management Framework (DMF), with the ability to deliver scalable technical solutions while collaborating with global stakeholders in a distributed offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) applications using X++ and extension-based development.
• Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) using Dual Write.
• Execute data migration activities using Data Management Framework (DMF), including creation, management, and troubleshooting of data packages and imports.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and convert them into robust technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain forms, tables, classes, workflows, services, and integrations within D365 F&O.
• Perform debugging, issue analysis, performance optimization, and root cause resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, release management, deployment activities, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with onsite Canada stakeholders and offshore development teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Follow development best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory Skills

• 5–6 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) development.
• Strong hands-on experience with X++ Development.
• Expertise in D365 F&O Customization using extensions.
• Experience with:

• Services
• Integrations
• Strong experience with Dual Write (Finance & Operations + Customer Engagement).
• Hands-on experience with Data Management Framework (DMF) and data migration.
• Experience working on full-cycle implementation and support projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 CE with Finance & Operations.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Basic understanding of .NET and enterprise integration patterns.
