– Desktop Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, laptop, and end-user technical support.
• Troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems, and peripheral-related issues.
• Handle passive networking activities, including cable routing, termination, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Work with fiber-optic cables, including installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Handle network switch and port connectivity checks and troubleshooting.
• Support LAN connectivity, patch panels, and structured cabling activities.
• Identify and resolve hardware and network connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with the IT and network teams to resolve technical problems.
• Maintain IT asset records, technical documentation, and service reports.
• Follow site safety procedures and IT support standards.

Required Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in passive networking and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of fiber-optic cables and related troubleshooting.
• Understanding of switches, ports, LAN connectivity, and patch panels.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Candidate Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Desktop Support, Hardware Support, or IT Infrastructure Support.
• BE / Diploma / Graduate in IT or a relevant technical field.
• Practical hands-on knowledge of hardware and passive networking.
• Male candidates only.
• Willingness to work at the Sayakha location near Ankleshwar, Gujarat.
