SEO Head - Marketplace Aggregator - BFSI/EdTech

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEO Head to lead our organic growth strategy across our marketplace aggregator platform, spanning the BFSI and Edtech sectors. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies, managing a team of SEO specialists, and collaborating closely with product, marketing, and technology teams to drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance user acquisition. The SEO Head will be instrumental in shaping our online presence, driving qualified leads, and ultimately contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business objectives for our marketplace aggregator platform across BFSI and Edtech verticals.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth and improved search visibility.
- Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure optimal execution of SEO initiatives.

- Collaborate with content marketing, product, and technology teams to optimize website content, structure, and technical SEO elements for improved search engine rankings.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders on key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, and proactively implement changes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage and optimize our presence on relevant online marketplaces and directories to drive qualified traffic and leads.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the BFSI and Edtech sectors.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and increase user acquisition.
- Proven experience in leading and managing SEO teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO principles, including website architecture, site speed optimization, and mobile-first indexing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech) is mandatory.
- Possess strong data visualization skills to present complex information in an easily understandable format.
- Experience in marketplace management is highly desirable.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and comfortable working in an on-site role in Mumbai.
- Minimum 7 to 15 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing.
