Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product scope for BOD/EOD process automation across Equity, Derivatives, Commodity, and Currency, including holding uploads, limit setting, position carryforward, reconciliation, readiness checks, SLA monitoring, dashboards, and elimination of operational single points of failure.
  • Own the product roadmap for RMS automation, covering client/scrip-level limits, intraday and base limit monitoring, MTM violation alerts, escalation workflows, auto square-off triggers, timer-based square-offs, and RMS blocks for debit, far-month contracts, and illiquid scrips.
  • Build and enhance real-time RMS monitoring and alerting dashboards for Risk Officers, Dealers, and HODs, while automating rule-based interventions and reducing turnaround time for critical RMS actions such as limit activation/deactivation and terminal management.
  • Define and own product capabilities for client-wise and scrip-wise position surveillance, concentration risk monitoring, simulated trade detection, ASM tracking, GSM/illiquid scrip blocking, and tender-period and staggered-delivery workflows.
  • Own automation of daily margin reporting across Equity, F&O, Commodity, and Currency, including supervisor reporting for client funds, collateral, and security balances, peak margin compliance, upfront margin collection, breach alerts, fund utilisation reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Own regulatory and compliance automation covering quarterly settlement, dormant/inactive account management, CTCL empanelment, and exchange/depository requirements across NSE, BSE, MCX, CDSL, and NSDL, ensuring timely implementation of SEBI circulars and exchange-driven regulatory changes.
  • Act as Product Owner for back-office and RMS modules across vendor-led trading platforms such as ODIN, OMNESYS, OMNI NEST, or equivalent systems, managing vendor coordination, patches, upgrades, deployments, release planning, functional testing, UAT, and build-vs-buy evaluations.
  • Translate business and operational pain points into BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and success metrics, while driving delivery across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and external vendors.
  • Partner with HODs and senior stakeholders to review automation progress, risk events, compliance posture, and adoption, while driving process improvement through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of total experience, including at least 2 years in a stock broking or capital markets organization in Operations, RMS, Product Management, or Business Analysis.
  • Experience in RMS/back-office operations at a broking firm, product management/business analysis for trading or back-office platforms, or working with trading-system vendors/fintechs focused on broking technology.
  • Strong understanding of Indian stock broking operations, including BOD/EOD, settlements, margins, RMS, and front-office/back-office platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Equity, Derivatives/F&O, Commodity, and Currency markets, along with familiarity with SEBI regulations, exchange circulars, and broker compliance requirements.
