QA Engineer

About Us:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a SaaS-based, fast-paced startup environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our product by designing test cases, executing test plans, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams.

Role Overview:

As a QA Engineer, you will take ownership of the quality of our product by designing, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated test cases. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure we meet the highest standards for product quality. In this role, youll work on testing across multiple environments and contribute to enhancing product performance, stability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Ensure high product quality by identifying and reporting bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.
• 
  Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand feature requirements and provide early feedback.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing in a SaaS-based environment.
• Participate in agile development processes, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Identify testing gaps and suggest improvements to enhance product reliability and user experience.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a SaaS product company.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing, and familiarity with automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools) is a plus.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments with agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC), bug tracking, and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
• Basic understanding of APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman.
