Data Center of Excellence
Data COE team is distributed globally between New York, London, Budapest, India, and Shanghai; and are engaged in a wide array of projects touching all business units (Institutional Securities, Investment Management, Wealth Management) and functions (e.g. Operations, Finance, Risk, Trading, Treasury, Resilience) across the Firm.
The team vision is a multi-year effort to simplify firm’s data architecture and business processes front-to-back with goals of reducing infrastructure and manpower costs, improving the ability to demonstrate control of data, empowering developers by providing consistent means of handling data, facilitate data-driven insights & decision making, and providing a platform to implement future change initiatives faster, cheaper and easier.
Job Profile
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player with a developer acumen towards solving engineering problems.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Designing and developing data quality measurement framework using cutting edge graph technologies.
- Design and build server-side components to support business requirements
- Participation in Design and code reviews.
- Knowledge sharing with our global team.
- Partnering with vendors/stake-holders to ensure high quality delivery

QUALIFICATIONS

Skill Set
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Agile Development Methodologies.
- Web Services (REST and SOAP).
- Core Java 8, Design Patterns, Spring
- Familiar with Python Data Science libraries (numpy, pandas, pyarrow, luigi)
- Familiar with basic Graph design and GraphQL
Desired Skills:
- Web Development (Angular, JavaScript, HTML5).
Qualifications/Criterion
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics or related field
