Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded Senior Manager 1 to take ownership of our GMV and revenue reporting architecture. You will lead the onboarding of new revenue streams and commercial constructs, manage external and internal audit queries, and provide sharp financial insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. GMV & Revenue Analysis & Reporting
Lead the end-to-end tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and Revenue across all business channels. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business-level performance dashboards highlighting revenue variances, trend analysis, and margin movements. Monitor transactional accuracy across high-volume data sets to ensure proper revenue recognition compliance.
2. New Commercial Construct Onboarding
Analyze proposed business models, promotional structures, and commercial deals from an accounting and reporting perspective. Define technical accounting flows, revenue recognition logic, and system mapping for all newly onboarded constructs. Partner with Product, Operations, and Tech teams to ensure seamless backend setup and reporting integration for new launches.
3. Audit Request Handling & Issue Resolution
Act as the primary point of contact for statutory, internal, and regulatory audit requests related to GMV and revenue metrics. Proactively identify and resolve reporting discrepancies, root-causing data variances alongside tech and finance operations.
4. Stakeholder & Business Query Management
Serve as the dedicated finance partner for business unit leads, answering daily ad-hoc queries regarding financial numbers and operational trends. Translate complex accounting and transaction logic into clear, actionable insights for non-finance leaders. Collaborate closely with Business, Business finance, Tax, and Legal teams to streamline inter-departmental workflows.
