Article Trainee - Indirect Tax (Chennai)

This is a full-time on-site role for an Article Trainee - Indirect Tax, based in Chennai. The selected candidate will assist in managing and preparing compliance reports related to GST and indirect taxes. Their day-to-day responsibilities will include working on tax filings, preparing documentation, handling tax audits, assisting with research on indirect tax laws, and supporting client advisory services. The role also involves interacting with clients under the guidance of senior team members and assisting them with their indirect tax-related requirements.

• Knowledge of Indirect Taxation including GST, tax filings, and compliance framework
• Analytical skills and the ability to conduct detailed research on tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in using accounting tools, software, and spreadsheets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
• Bachelors degree in Commerce or a related field; candidates pursuing CA (Articleship) will be preferred
• Familiarity with tax audits and documentation standards is a plus
