Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Associate Direct Tax based in Coimbatore. The role involves managing direct tax compliance, preparation, and filings, analyzing and interpreting tax laws and regulations, supervising tax audits, and providing support in tax assessments and litigation. The Senior Associate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to tax laws, optimize taxable income strategies, and deliver high-quality advisory services to clients. Additionally, the role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax compliance and legislative developments.
- Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation to manage filings, returns, and audits effectively.
- In-depth understanding of Tax and Tax Law for accurate interpretation and application in client cases.
- Strong knowledge of Finance principles, including financial analysis and reporting.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with regulatory filings and tax-related technology tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in handling tax assessments and liaising with tax authorities.
