Job Description
- As a Back-end Software Engineer Specialist at Nasdaq Technology in Mumbai, India, you will be part of a dynamic team developing critical data solutions for financial markets globally. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing software solutions, and contributing to the full software development process. Here's what you can expect in this role:
- Developing and implementing software solutions in Java, focusing on AWS Cloud SaaS back-end development.
- Collaborating with teams in Mumbai and other countries at Nasdaq.
- Taking responsibility for the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
- Translating business requirements into software solutions and providing user support and training.
- Participating in software design meetings, code reviews, and acting as a technical expert on development projects.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 5 years of Java software engineering experience.
- Experience with AWS, SQL, RESTful APIs, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of Kotlin is a plus.
- Proficiency in Linux commands, Bash scripting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
- Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends.

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kotlin, SaaS, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, big data tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containers (Docker and Kubernetes).
