- Role Overview:
Nasdaq Technology is seeking a Specialist DevOps Engineer to join their Bangalore technology center in India. As a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Devops, Databricks, and Terraform, you will be responsible for enhancing data and analytics infrastructure, managing various platforms, and supporting continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Your role will involve collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams to deploy and maintain robust data pipelines and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab and JIRA for development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Handle and optimize infrastructure for Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, Databricks, and Informatica to ensure scalability and performance.
- Lead deployments on Azure and AWS platforms, focusing on hybrid cloud solutions for scalability and cost optimization.
- Establish monitoring frameworks to ensure system health, performance, and reliability across all platforms.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to support and optimize DevOps processes.
- Ensure data governance, access control, and security compliance for all data environments.
Qualifications Required:
- At least 6+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a strong focus on Databricks, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, and Informatica.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Terraform is a must.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitLab, JIRA, and related automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure and AWS, and expertise in hybrid cloud deployments.

- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools, scripting language Python & Notebooks, and SQL & database concepts.
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), or related technologies are a plus.
- Soft skills including leadership, communication, problem-solving, and incident management.
