NPST - Assistant Manager - Sales

Job Summary:

• The Assistant Sales Manager plays a key role in supporting the Sales Manager to drive sales growth, manage the sales team, and maintain strong customer relationships.
• The role involves assisting in the development and execution of sales strategies, handling client interactions, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.

• Support and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and generate leads.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential clients.

• Coordinate with marketing and product teams to support sales campaigns and product launches.

• Prepare sales reports and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.

• Handle client inquiries, negotiate deals, and resolve issues promptly.

• Train and mentor junior sales staff when required.

• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay competitive.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors / master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

• 2-4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably with leadership exposure.

• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
