Robot Operator

As we expand our global robotics operations, we are building an India-based team that works closely with our operations group in California to support remote robot missions across utility-scale solar sites.

This position is ideal for candidates who are comfortable working in an English-speaking environment and collaborating with U.S.-based teams in technical support, customer service, or robotics-related functions.

As a Robotics Systems Operator – India Operations, you will remotely operate and monitor robotic systems deployed at solar sites while collaborating daily with our California operations team. You will help ensure missions are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational expectations.

• Key Responsibilities
• Remote Robot Operations

• Operate and monitor robotic inspection missions across utility-scale solar sites.
• Execute daily mission schedules and ensure missions are completed accurately and efficiently.

Cross-Regional Collaboration

• Communicate clearly with U.S.-based operators, supervisors, and technical teams.
• Participate in operational handoffs, shift updates, and mission reviews with the California operations team.
• Maintain schedule alignment with U.S. operations.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

• Identify operational issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve robot or connectivity challenges.
• Escalate incidents using established internal workflows and documentation standards.

Deployment and Operational Support

• Assist with onboarding new sites, robot-readiness checks, and validation of mission setups.
• Support operational testing, system validation, and process improvements.

Documentation and Reporting

• Log mission data, anomalies, incidents, and operational notes using internal platforms.
• Provide clear and timely written and verbal updates in English.
• Maintain accurate records throughout each shift.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow company and client safety procedures when supporting robot operations.
• Ensure all missions are performed in accordance with operational and safety requirements.

• Fluency in spoken and written English; daily communication with U.S.-based teams is required.
• Experience working in an English-speaking environment in one or more of the following areas: Technical supportCustomer service or call center operationsRobotics or remote operations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work consistently from an office environment.
• Ability to maintain a schedule aligned with U.S. operations.

• Experience with robotics, remote monitoring, or technical platforms.
• Exposure to solar energy, renewable energy, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with documentation, incident-management, or ticketing systems.
