Inviting Applications for Post of Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, NIST University, Berhampur, Odisha

Responsibilities:The candidate should have leadership quality and be able to handle academic, teaching, research and management duties in the department. Candidate must be a team player and able collaborate with faculties in other schools of the university on research activities/initiatives. Candidate expected to lead activities related to accreditation and ranking etc. Candidate must have excellent communication, presentation, leadership and teaching skill using modern technologies.

Essential Qualifications:

1. A professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant disciplines, from a reputed academic institutions/university in India or abroad.
2. A minimum of 8 years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor and/or research experience at equivalent level from reputed laboratory/industries.
3. In addition, he/she should have research experience and published work of high quality with a minimum of 8 research publications in IEEE Transactions/Scopus/WoSindexed journals, etc. with research score as per UGC guidelines
4. Candidate may have supervised PhD/postdoc scholars with track record of receiving research grants/funding

Specialization:Specialization in any of the areas of Data Analytics, AI/ML, Computer Vision, Natural Language and Image Processing, Multimedia and X-Reality, Cloud Computing, Micro Service Architecture, Cybersecurity andIoT is preferred and a plus.
