Role Description The Health Insurance Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna, responsible for advising customers on suitable health insurance plans and supporting them throughout the policy lifecycle. In this role, the agent engages with prospective and existing customers, explains product features and benefits, and helps them compare and select policies that align with their healthcare and financial needs. Daily activities include generating leads, conducting in-person and telephone consultations, coordinating with internal teams and partners, and assisting customers with policy issuance, renewals, and basic claim-related queries. The agent also maintains accurate records of customer interactions, follows regulatory and company compliance guidelines, and contributes to local sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Health Insurance and Insurance, with a solid understanding of health insurance products, policy structures, and industry regulations.
• Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Medicare, including experience working with intermediaries and familiarity with government or senior-focused health plans.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
• Relevant experience in insurance sales, financial services, or healthcare advisory roles is beneficial.
• Knowledge of local markets in Patna and surrounding regions, along with basic proficiency in standard office and CRM tools, is preferred.
• A minimum of a bachelors degree in any discipline is typically expected; applicable licenses or certifications in insurance will be an advantage.
• Ability to work ethically in a target-driven environment, build long-term customer relationships, and adhere to regulatory and company compliance standards.
