Manager – Construction / Manager – ProjectPosition Title: Construction Manager / Project ManagerLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEReporting To: Head of Operations / Project DirectorJob Summary:To have overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of a major project. The role encompasses full P&L responsibility, client satisfaction, and delivery of the project on time, within budget, and to specified quality and HSE standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Overall Project Leadership: Direct and manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to handover.
  
• Planning & Scheduling: Develop the master project schedule (in coordination with the Planning Manager), monitor critical path, and implement recovery plans for delays.
• Budget & Cost Control: Manage the project budget, forecast costs, approve expenditures, and control variations to ensure profitability.
• Team Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise the project team including engineers, superintendents, and supervisors.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, consultant, and other key stakeholders. Manage relationships and ensure clear communication.
• Contract Administration: Oversee all contractual matters, including claims, variations, and correspondence.
• HSE & Quality: Champion a "Zero Accident" culture. Ensure the project's quality management plan is rigorously implemented.
• Reporting: Provide accurate and timely progress, financial, and risk reports to senior management.

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in project/construction management, with a proven record of successfully delivering large infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Must have managed projects in at least two of the following sectors: roads & bridges, sewage/water networks, desalination/power plants, or high-rise buildings.
• Strong expertise in contracts (FIDIC), project management software (Primavera P6), and cost control systems.
• PMP or similar certification is a significant advantage.
