Key Responsibilities :

• Administration & Operations
• black small square Administer, configure, customize and maintain the tools ensuring high availability and optimal
• performance.
• black small square Manage and operate the entire toolset — including deployment, configuration, dashboards and integrations.
• black small square Monitor tool performance, apply patches and upgrades, and handle capacity planning.
• black small square Conduct regular health checks, system audits and license management.
• SME, Integration & Insight
• black small square Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for IT Operations Tools and APM, ensuring alignment with ITIL processes — Incident, Problem, Change and CMDB.
• black small square Apply integration knowledge with other tools for end-to-end observability and event correlation.
• black small square Develop, customize and manage dashboards, reports and alerts to provide actionable insights to business and IT stakeholders.
• black small square Support the design, architecture and expansion of monitoring solutions to cover changes in application or infrastructure.
• Automation, Support & Governance
• black small square Automate workflows and routine administration tasks, including monitoring, using scripting (Shell, PowerShell).
• black small square Provide L3 / L4 support for tools-related incidents, problems and escalations.
• black small square Act as the single point of contact for tool-related escalations.
• black small square Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements in tools configuration, access management and data handling.
• black small square Collaborate with application, infrastructure and network teams to improve monitoring coverage, root-cause
• analysis and proactive issue resolution.
• black small square Create and maintain knowledge base articles, SOPs and documentation for operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience :

• black small square B.Tech / MCA with 5+ years of relevant IT project experience.
• black small square Hands-on administration, configuration and customization of the OpenText toolset — particularly BVD, SM and APM.
• black small square Experience running BVD on Kubernetes, including deployment and troubleshooting.
• black small square Working knowledge of OBM, NNMi, UCMDB, Asset Manager and SiteScope.
• black small square Strong grounding in ITIL processes — Incident, Problem, Change and CMDB — and how they map to tooling.
• black small square Proven ability to build and customize dashboards, reports and alerting for varied stakeholder audiences.
• black small square Scripting for automation in Shell and PowerShell.
• black small square Tool integration experience for observability and event correlation.
• black small square Experience providing L3 / L4 support and owning escalations end-to-end.

• black small square Ability to work under pressure and handle high-priority escalations calmly.

black small square Because project SLAs (including financial measures) are monitored through these tools, the role requires high availability and on-demand support for critical issues — including outside normal working hours, and on holidays or during planned leave, should a critical issue arise.

Preffered/ Good to have :

• black small square Tool-specific OpenText certifications (BVD, SM, APM, OBM or NNMi).
• black small square ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
• black small square Exposure to Kubernetes / container platforms beyond BVD deployment.
• black small square Familiarity with SIEM, ITSM or observability platforms alongside the OpenText stack.
• black small square Experience supporting BFSI, government / PSU or other regulated enterprise environments.
