Shape the digital backbone that helps Novo Nordisk reach millions of patients living with serious chronic diseases. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, youll build and evolve the platform that keeps our global IT operations running - and youll see the impact of your code in everything we deliver.

Your new role

As our new Senior ServiceNow Developer, youll take ownership of hands-on development, day-to-day support, and platform operations across multiple ServiceNow modules. Youll design and customise robust solutions, ensure stable integrations, and help mature how we use ServiceNow across the enterprise.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

• Designing, building and maintaining ServiceNow applications, workflows and integrations end-to-end across modules such as ITSM and ITOM
• Building and maintaining integrations with third-party monitoring tools and data sources (APIs, REST/SOAP, scheduled imports) and working with ITOM components such as Discovery/MID Server, Service Mapping and CMDB
• Owning the full development lifecycle - requirements, solution design, build, test, deployment and support - while upholding coding, security and QMS standards
• Providing day-to-day support for production issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis and continuous improvements
• Participating in release upgrades, code reviews, patching, and managing Change, Release and deployments via update sets
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, system managers and business stakeholders globally
• Mentoring junior developers and championing coding standards and best practices

Within Enterprise IT & Quality, our ServiceNow team is responsible for designing, operating and evolving the platform that underpins critical IT services across Novo Nordisk. We work closely with stakeholders around the world to deliver scalable, reliable and compliant solutions - and your work will directly shape how our colleagues serve patients every day.

Your skills & qualifications

Were looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer who thrives in a global, regulated environment and brings both technical depth and a collaborative mindset. Youll bring with you:

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 10+ years of IT experience with 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration, and a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and their functionality
• Strong JavaScript, Flow Designer and REST/SOAP integration skills, with proven experience designing end-to-end solutions
• ServiceNow certifications required ITIL Foundation preferred experience from regulated/GxP environments is an advantage
• A proven track record in support and operations within large, regulated enterprises, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team
