We are currently seeking a Z5_Java Solution Architect to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

We are looking for a hands-on Java Tech Lead who can lead the technical design and development of modern, scalable applications while remaining deeply involved in coding and engineering activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across the Full-Stack, with Java/Spring Boot on the backend and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React or Angular on the frontend.

The candidate should also have practical experience using Generative AI and AI-assisted software engineering tools to improve developer productivity, software quality, automation, and engineering velocity.

• Key Responsibilities
• 1. Technical Leadership
• Lead the technical design and development of complex enterprise applications.
• Define application architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and engineering practices.
• Make pragmatic technology and architecture decisions balancing scalability, maintainability, security, performance, and time-to-market.
• Conduct architecture/design reviews and provide technical direction to development teams.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues and production problems.
• Mentor developers and establish strong engineering practices across the team.
• 2. Hands-on Full-Stack Development
• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design and implement frontend applications using React / Angular / TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Work across the complete application stack—from UI and APIs to databases, messaging, and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate actively in coding, debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization.
• Perform detailed code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Design and implement automated unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• 3. Java & Backend Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java 11/17/21+
• Spring Boot
• Spring Framework / Spring Security
• REST APIs
• Microservices architecture
• JPA / Hibernate
• SQL and relational databases
• NoSQL databases
• Kafka or other event-driven/messaging technologies
• Multithreading and concurrency
• JVM performance tuning
• Distributed systems
• API security, authentication, and authorization
• 4. Frontend Engineering
• Hands-on experience with one or more modern frontend ecosystems:
• React / Angular
• TypeScript
• JavaScript
• HTML5 / CSS3
• REST/API integration
• State management
• Responsive web application development
• Frontend testing frameworks
• The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting issues across the UI → API → service → database stack.
• 5. AI-Based Software Engineering
• The candidate should understand and demonstrate practical adoption of AI across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Amazon Q Developer, or equivalent AI engineering tools is desirable.
• The candidate should be able to demonstrate how AI can be integrated into engineering workflows rather than simply using AI as a coding assistant.
• 6. Cloud & DevOps
• Experience with modern cloud-native engineering practices:
• AWS / Azure / GCP
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• CI/CD
• Git
• Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps
• Infrastructure as Code
• Observability and monitoring
• Logging and distributed tracing
• Experience deploying and operating microservices in a cloud environment is highly desirable.
• 8. Software Architecture
• Strong understanding of:
• Microservices
• Domain-Driven Design
• SOLID principles
• Design patterns
• Event-driven architecture
• Distributed systems
• API-first architecture
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and architecture.
• Required Skills
• Must Have
• 10–15+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong Spring Boot / Microservices experience.
• Hands-on Full-Stack development experience.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of REST
