Senior Design Engineer CFD & Thermal Simulation (Assistant Manager)

Summary

• Use CFD tools to simulate airflow and thermal simulations to evaluate heat flow, temperature, condensation and humidity
• Develop & deliver state-of-the-art NPI design solutions to improve the aero performance using CFD.
• Possess expertise in thermal management for motors, batteries, and electronic components
• Perform Thermal Management/Optimization using Star CCM
• Perform analytical calculations on reduced or simplified math models to make designing and testing more efficient
• Correlate physical tests results (Dynamometer lab ) with CFD prediction
• Participate in developing new CFD methodologies tackling current and future design problems
• Developing and solving, analytically if possible, numerically if necessary, simplified flow models and general partial differential equations
• Generating 3D solid models from scratch and defeaturing CAD models supplied by external design groups and producing quality computational meshes
• Writing technical reports that can be understood by non-experts for use in disseminating analysis results throughout the company.
