Job Description
- As a Site Engineer with QS experience at this company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction projects and ensuring their successful completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Site Supervision & Coordination:
- Monitor day-to-day site progress, quality, and adherence to drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and client representatives.
- Track work completion against planned schedules and highlight delays.
- Ensure safety practices and housekeeping standards are maintained at the site.
- Quantity Surveying & Billing:
- Take joint measurements at the site and prepare/check contractor bills.
- Verify BOQs, estimates, and executed quantities against the contract scope.
- Prepare quantity take-offs for new items/variations and support in rate analysis.
- Monitor material consumption and reconcile steel, cement, and major items.
- Certify subcontractor/vendor bills for accuracy and timely processing.
- Cost & Documentation:
- Maintain updated records of drawings, changes, and site instructions.
- Track variations/deviations and ensure proper approvals and documentation.
In addition to the responsibilities, the company expects you to have the following qualifications and skills:

- Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and billing procedures.
- Experience in high-end luxury residential and commercial construction.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and measurement methods.
- Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to handle contractors.
- Eye for detail, accuracy in measurements, and proactive problem-solving.
- Preference for candidates with a stable career history (not frequent job changes).
- Two-wheeler is mandatory for this role.
