Support Engineer 1

Focus on enhancing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Cerners world class enterprise-wide Revenue Management information system (Oracle Health Patient Accounting application) which provides financing of care in the acute and ambulatory environments & used by health care provider revenue cycle management personnel. The Oracle Health Patient Accounting solution is made up of several modules: Revenue Management, Patient Access / registration, Scheduling / appointment management

Key Responsibilities

As a Support Engineer 1, you will enhance, monitor and support the Oracle Health Patient Accounting application.You will perform ongoing troubleshooting, enhancements to the application ensuring the solution is fully optimized and operational.You will respond to enhancement requests from users and then manage, built, and implement changes to enhance & optimize the clients financial solutions through industry change control processes.Your end goal is to meet and exceed client contractual obligations related to incidents and enhancements to the clients solution.We are looking for versatile and innovative individuals with a willingness to learn along with a technical background supported by experience or education in information technologies and or Health Care Administration.

Additionally, act as focal point resource for the team and represent the team at key internal or client meetings planned or whenever necessary.

Will also be required to support a scheduled on call rotation for critical client issues specific times throughout the year.Prospective employees must be available and willing to work the following schedule: 5:30 p.m.-2:30 a.m. IST.

Work involves problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.You will be responsible for performingtroubleshooting investigations by gathering information, using troubleshooting tools, shadowing end users, and testing workflows internally and externally.In addition, you will prioritize work based on severity and urgency balancing client and business needs. You will collaborate among and across teams to ensure issues are addressed by the appropriate individuals, document notes, activities, resolutions, and other knowledge articles throughout the lifecycle of an investigation.

Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience with 0 - 2 years experience. Bachelors degree in Health Care Administration also applies.
