Paytm - Assistant Vice President - Supply Chain Transformation - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI/XLRI

About the Role
We are looking for a high-impact strategy and operations leader to build and scale Paytm's nationwide device ecosystem across Soundbox, POS/EDC machines, and merchant hardware solutions.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, supply chain transformation, network design, analytics, and large-scale operations. The mandate is to drive operational scalability, optimize lifecycle economics, and build a best-in-class device distribution and recovery network powering millions of merchants across India.
Ideal for candidates from top consulting firms, high-growth consumer tech/ecommerce companies, or premier B-schools who thrive in solving complex business and operational problems at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive national strategy for device supply chain, distribution, reverse logistics, and lifecycle management.

- Lead network design, inventory optimization, deployment efficiency, and cost transformation initiatives.
- Build scalable operating models across warehousing, field operations, refurbishment, and asset recovery.
- Partner cross-functionally with business, product, finance, procurement, and analytics teams to drive growth and operational excellence.
- Leverage analytics, automation, and technology to improve visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Manage strategic relationships with OEMs, logistics providers, and operational partners.
Ideal Candidate
- 8 - 12 years of experience in strategy, operations, supply chain, consulting, ecommerce, fintech, telecom, or consumer tech.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience managing large-scale distributed operations or transformation programs preferred.
- MBA from a premier B-school preferred.
