Human Resources Intern

Pehchaan The Street School (Trust) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible education to underprivileged children in India. For over 9 years, Pehchaan has worked to break the barriers of institutionalized and commodified education, striving to make both vocational and academic learning opportunities available to all children who have a desire to learn. With a focus on education as a fundamental right, Pehchaan operates street schools and prioritizes transforming lives through learning and empowerment.

This is an on-site internship role for a Human Resources Intern based in Delhi, India. The intern will assist in various HR activities, including managing HR policies, supporting employee benefits programs, handling personnel management tasks, and contributing to overall HR strategy. The intern will also collaborate with the team to help create a positive organizational culture and implement effective HR practices.

• Knowledge of core Human Resources (HR) principles and practices
• Understanding of HR Management and development of effective HR strategies
• Familiarity with HR Policies and compliance procedures
• Experience or knowledge in Employee Benefits and related programs
