Funding

Perfios secured $80 Million from Teachers Venture Growth, the late-stage venture and growth investment arm of the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan in March 2024. Earlier in FY 23-24, $229 Million was raised by Perfios in their Series D round from Kedaara Capital, marking the largest fund raise among Indian B2B SaaS companies for this financial year. Prior to this, Perfios raised $70 Million in Series C round from Warburg Pincus and Bessemer Venture Partners in February 2022. The latest round of funding has taken the total funding raised by Perfios to $435.1 Million.

Acquisitions: In line with Perfios efforts to strengthen its lending-focused product offerings, Perfios has recently acquired Karza Technologies. currently one of Indias most prominent SaaS based Reg Tech start-ups. Perfios had earlier acquired FinTech Labs Technologies, a Noida-based company which provides digital lending software as a service to companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Discovery: Collaborate with clients, Customer Success Teams (CST), Sales, Marketing, Solutioning, and Product teams to deeply understand and analyse customer needs, pain points, and market trends. Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and market validation to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
• Product Design: Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) that include functional and non-functional specifications, workflow diagrams, business logic, routing logic, wireframes, and user stories. Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-centric product designs.
• Product Delivery: Act as the Product Owner within Agile/Scrum frameworks, managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product increments. Participate in Scrum rituals (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure alignment and continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure seamless execution.
• Product Adoption: Partner with Sales and Customer Success Teams (CST) to drive product adoption and ensure customers derive maximum value from our solutions. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product launches, feature rollouts, and customer training programs. Monitor product usage and gather feedback to iterate and improve the product experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Data Analysts, Designers, Developers, Marketers, Technical Writers, Account Managers, and CST Managers to align on business goals and deliver impactful outcomes. Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration across teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Define and track North Star Metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Conduct weekly performance reviews, analyse data, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Prepare and present detailed reports on product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
• Experience with designed tools for crafting wireframes and workflows like figma, diagrams.net, lucid chart, etc.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Sheets, MS Excel, Python (2/3), SQL, Plotly, Pandas, or NumPy.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SCRUM and product management tools (e.g., gitlab, Jira, Trello).
• Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in Google Docs or MS Word.
• A curious and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to distils complex concepts into clear value propositions for customers.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Background in FinTech and/or B2B SaaS industries (Good to have).
• Background in one or multiple lending products especially focus on building B2B journeys around the same will be highly preferred
• Experience in handling external stakeholders from Banks and NBFC will be an additional advantage.
