Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting departments daily operations. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing functions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive process improvements. Responsibilities and Duties:

? Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

? Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards.

? Develop annual operating budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management.

? Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

? Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax filings, financial reporting, and internal controls.

? Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.

? Manage cash flow and liquidity requirements, including monitoring bank accounts, cash forecasts, and cash disbursements.

? Optimize cash management processes to maximize liquidity and minimize borrowing costs.

? Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into key performance metrics, trends, and variances.

? Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements.

? Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Requirements:

? Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.

? 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

? Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

? Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Excel.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

? Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing accounting teams.

? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
