QA QC Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of QAP as per customer spec., NDT requirements & drawing.
• In-coming inspection, in-process inspection & final inspection.
• Prepare Production Plans & Supervise the production activities in workshop & Outsourced workshops.
• Inspection & Quality control of all production activity.
• Maintain documents related to Quality both for site & workshop activities.
• Attend Third Party Inspection & Other Quality control affairs.
• Inspect incoming parts of the equipment's from various machines shops/vendors in consolation with the concerned person who has given the requisition for that particular part/component.
• Preparing and maintaining WPS/PQR/WQT as per section IX & API 1104.
• Follow up with Machine Shop.
• Send Production Status report to all concerned in PPTS Department once in a week (Every Monday).
• Maintaining daily records for each of QC process.
• Supervision at shop floor for ensuring the quality requirements are met as per the customer specification & drawing.
• Raising TPI call and coordinating with them for all inspection/witness activity.
• Any other work instructed by HOD & directors.

Preferred candidate profile

Age: 28+

Gender: Male

Education: BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience: Should have worked in QA/QC in any Fabrication Shop or in Erection/ Fabrication of piping on field.

Languages: English , Kannada & Hindi must

Communication:

• Should possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Confident to converse with clients and colleagues.

Computer Knowledge: Should be proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, and Word etc.

Additional Qualification:

• NDT Level 2 (VT, PT, UT, RT),
• ASME Section IX and API 1104 Appendix B.
