FMCG Packaging Production Assistant

Our client is a well—established personal care andhygiene packaging organization.

We are recruiting UAE experienced productionassistant to join their manufacturing and production operations in UAE NortherEmirates.

The primary focus of the role is planning and scheduling all planning production activities toensure efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization for the timelydelivery of customer orders.

Candidates must have experienceof developing and tracking production schedules based on demand forecasts,capacity, and resource availability.

Role Summary

• Develop production schedulesand resource plans to meet production deadlines – manpower planning, qualitycontrol and cost optimization.
• Identify raw materialrequirements, production specifications and capacity to ensure that productionslevels are achievable.
• Monitor production andadjust schedules to meet production completion dates to fulfil customer ordersin a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the storesto optimize inventory levels to minimize excess inventory and low stock levels.
• Analyze production data toidentify variances in material consumption, production costs and resources; identityareas for improvement and assist with implementing measures to increase productionefficiency, reduce downtime and material waste. HSEQ compliance for safety regulations and quality standards across allproduction planning activities.

• 4+ years’ production experience in personalcare, hygiene, cosmetics, beauty care packaging (CPG / FMCG).
• Experience in improvingproduction processes, effective resource and material planning and maintainingproduction compliance in line with quality control and costs.
• Ability to prioritize and communicateeffectively with stakeholders to provide updates on production status, issuesand affecting production timelines.
• Proactive approach toproduction planning – problem solving, analytical and continuous improvement inproduction planning processes.
• In-depth experience of productionplanning tools and software for capacity planning, scheduling and forecasting. Proficient use of Excel and ERP and MRP.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturingand process optimization is a strong advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering orIndustrial Engineering
