Job Description
- You are a Senior Civil Structural Engineer who will be responsible for designing buildings and structures in steelwork and reinforced concrete, conducting structural analysis, managing drawing production, and utilizing structural engineering design software. Your role will also involve producing comprehensive design calculation reports and structural drawings, communicating with stakeholders, both internal teams and clients, on a regular basis, building relationships, and supporting construction activities including site inspections. In addition, you will be responsible for conducting Technical Bid Analysis.
Qualifications required for this role include a degree in Civil Structural Engineering, a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience working for Structural Engineering consultants, experience across a broad range of structural engineering projects with a preference for industrial buildings (Pharmaceutical, Food, or Energy projects), experience in managing a team of Engineers and Designers for structural packages, experience in Singapore Projects, coordination with other PM Group offices, progress reporting, manhour control for the Structural Scope, experience with construction, proficiency in using structural design and modeling software such as Tekla Structures and STAAD Pro, a strong ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection, and business, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal/people skills, a proven track record of working closely with clients, contractors, and other design team members, and a proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
