Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Videographer role based in Panaji. The Videographer will plan, shoot, and produce video content for a variety of formats, including interviews, short documentaries, social media clips, and promotional videos. Daily responsibilities include setting up camera and lighting equipment, capturing high-quality footage, collaborating with producers and writers on storyboards, and ensuring consistent visual style across projects. The role involves occasional field shoots, coordinating with on-screen participants, and working with the post-production team to deliver polished, timely content that aligns with Politifys goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Video Production skills, including planning, shooting, and coordinating end-to-end video projects.
• Candidates should possess Camera Operation and Camera handling skills, with the ability to work confidently with professional video equipment.
• Candidates should possess Lighting and Shooting Video skills, ensuring well-composed, properly exposed footage in varied environments.
• Relevant experience with video editing software, audio recording, and basic post-production workflows is beneficial.
• Ability to translate complex ideas into visual stories, with attention to detail and consistency in branding and messaging.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work on-site in Panaji on a structured full-time schedule.
• Prior experience in media, journalism, political content, or social impact storytelling, and a portfolio showcasing videography work are advantageous.
