Business Development Manager

Role Description The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for PossibiliTea Media & Marketing. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and networking, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and pitches, and negotiating contracts with prospective and existing clients. The role involves closely collaborating with internal teams to align client needs with advertising, media, and marketing solutions, while tracking pipeline activity and reporting on performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular in-person engagement with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in media sales, advertising sales, or business development, preferably within the advertising/media industry.
• Candidates with prior experience in media houses in Kerala, advertising agencies, or media/advertising companies will be strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in OOH (Out-of-Home) advertising sales—including billboards, hoardings, transit media, or other outdoor advertising formats—will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of advertising solutions, client acquisition, media planning, pitching, negotiations, and revenue generation is preferred.
• Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, with demonstrated ability to generate leads and close deals.
• Experience in advertising, media, or marketing services, with understanding of integrated and 360-degree campaign solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients at multiple levels.
• Ability to build long-term client relationships, manage multiple stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills, including experience with market research, pipeline tracking, and revenue forecasting.
• Proficiency with common business productivity tools (e.g., CRM systems, spreadsheets, presentation software).
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru, with a proactive, self-directed work style and strong time management capabilities.
