Position: VP Sales and Marketing - Domestic and International Business
Role: Heading the S&M Business Domain
COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our Client is seeking a Vice President Sales. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in high-voltage electrical infrastructure and a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Sales Leadership & Growth: Drive significant revenue growth including developing new markets and launching new products. Responsible for strategic sales planning, sales forecasting, and overall business growth and profitability improvement.
- Technical & Execution Support: Possess deep technical expertise in power generation, transmission, and distribution, with direct experience in high-voltage systems (up to 800kV+). Technical fluency in associated fittings like OPGW, spacer dampers, insulators, and substation clamps is a key requirement.
- Client & Relationship Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders and customers, including Fortune 500 companies and major industry players like Power Grid Corp. Handle the full deal cycle from inquiry to order, including techno-commercial offer preparation and pre-bid cash flow analysis.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a sales team, fostering cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external customers. Strong team-building, motivation and collaboration skills required.

- Tendering & Commercial Management: Manage sales and tendering operations, including preparing techno-commercial offers and pre-bid cash flow analyses. Experience in winning large industrial/government utility tenders is essential.
- International & Domestic Sales: Extensive experience in both Indian and international markets is required for this role.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience: Minimum 20-25 years in sales, with at least 10 years in the high-voltage transmission and distribution sector, preferably with an EPC or manufacturing company.
- Technical Acumen: Strong technical background in high-voltage electrical equipment and systems (up to 800kV+).
- Core Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, pricing strategy, customer relationship management (CRM), and forecasting. Strategic, results-oriented, and data-driven mindset.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
