As an Azure Databricks+Guidewire Senior Associate, you will design and build data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation solutions that support cloud-based data platforms and analytics use cases within our Advisory practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and mentor junior team members while using critical thinking to navigate changing priorities and deliver work that aligns with project objectives. In this role at PwC, you will apply Data Engineering skills across Azure Databricks and Guidewire environments, interpret data to inform insights, and contribute to data modernization efforts that help clients move raw data into usable information for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building data pipelines and data integration solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Transforming and modeling data for analytics, reporting, and downstream application use across cloud-based environments
• Developing scalable data architecture components that support modernization of legacy platforms and data migration efforts
• Performing query tuning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting across data warehouses and processing workflows
• Applying data validation, quality checks, and security controls to support reliable and compliant data movement
• Collaborating with client teams to translate business needs into technical data engineering deliverables and implementation plans
• Interpreting complex data engineering requirements and breaking them into manageable workstreams and tasks
• Mentoring junior team members through review of code, logic, and delivery approach
• Using Databricks, Snowflake, and related cloud technologies to support modern data platform solutions

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
• Demonstrating Azure Databricks and Guidewire project delivery in data engineering
• Applying data pipeline, data modeling, and data quality skills
• Utilizing Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or Apache Airflow
• Interpreting data to inform client recommendations and decisions
• Mentoring junior team members while navigating complex workstreams
