What role will you play in the team?
As a Canada Tax Analyst, you will support the tax team in delivering high-quality tax services to clients. Your role involves assisting with tax compliance, research, and planning activities, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the tax department.

You will assist in the preparation of Canadian tax returns, conduct tax research, and support senior team members with various tax-related projects. Your contributions will help ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws and regulations, providing valuable experience in the field.
Key responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of Canadian personal and corporate income tax returns.
- Conduct tax research on various Canadian tax issues.
- Prepare tax provisions and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile financial data to tax returns.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for tax compliance.
- Maintain accurate and organized tax records.
- Assist with tax audits and controversy matters.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in Canadian tax law and regulations.
- Prepare working papers and supporting documentation for tax returns.
- Support the tax team in various tax planning and compliance activities.
Required Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Canadian tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Canadian tax forms such as T1, T2, T3, and T5.
- Knowledge of Canadian Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) is a plus.
- Prior internship or experience in taxation is an asset.
