As a Manager - Payroll, you will lead and manage client accounts within our Workforce Consulting practice, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You will be responsible for overseeing payroll strategies and solutions, confirming that client needs are met with precision and professionalism. As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality results. You will leverage team strengths and manage performance to meet client expectations, while identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will be expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. Embracing technology and innovation, you will enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same. You will also be responsible for coaching and leveraging team members' unique strengths, managing performance, and addressing conflicts or issues with clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Leading workforce strategy initiatives to enhance client support and drive transformation
- Analyzing system components to identify interactions and optimize workforce planning
- Taking ownership of payroll projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
- Developing and mentoring team members to leverage their strengths and improve performance
- Encouraging skill development and embracing change to foster innovation and growth
- Engaging in difficult conversations with stakeholders to address conflicts and issues
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct
- Utilizing workforce analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve employee retention
- Implementing training and development programs to support career growth and well-being
- Confirming timelines and deliverables to maintain quality in client engagements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of total experience
-6 years of relevant experience on progressive payroll experience, preferably within professional
services, consulting, outsourcing, shared services, managed services, or a complex corporate payroll environment.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
