What role will you play in the team?
As a US Corporate Tax Staff, you will assist in preparing and reviewing US corporate income tax returns, conducting tax research, and supporting tax planning activities for our corporate clients. Your role helps companies manage their taxes and comply with US Laws.
What you will do
You will be preparing US corporate income tax returns (Form 1120). Assisting with tax research and analysis. Supporting tax planning and compliance. Responding to client inquiries and resolving tax issues. Maintaining accurate and organized tax records.
Key Responsibility
- Prepare accurate and timely US corporate income tax returns (Form 1120) and related schedules.
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial records and tax documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Research and interpret US corporate tax laws and regulations to determine the correct tax treatment of various transactions.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide recommendations to clients to minimize their tax liabilities.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide guidance on US corporate tax-related matters.
- Assist with tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US corporate tax laws and regulations through continuing professional education.
- Collaborate with other members of the tax team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of tax services.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls and policies.
- Assist with the development and implementation of tax technology solutions.
Required Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in US corporate tax preparation and compliance.
- Strong understanding of US corporate tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using tax preparation software such as CorpTax or OneSource.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with consolidated tax returns is a plus.
