Statutory Auditor - Financial Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute statutory audits of Financial Services clients including NBFCs, Banks, Insurance and other financial institutions.
• Handle audit planning, risk assessment, execution and completion of audit assignments.
• Review financial statements, schedules, disclosures and accounting treatments as per applicable Ind AS/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures and review of key balance sheet and P&L areas.
• Evaluate internal controls, IFC/ICFR and key business processes.
• Identify audit issues, discuss findings with clients and prepare audit documentation.
• Coordinate with client finance teams and internal stakeholders for timely closure of audits.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, RBI/NHB/IRDAI regulations and applicable auditing standards.
• Support preparation of audit reports, management letters and other statutory deliverables.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in FS statutory audit is preferred.
• Exposure to NBFC/Banking/Insurance audits.
• Good understanding of Ind AS, financial reporting and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Big 4 / leading professional services firm experience would be an advantage.
