Role Overview

We are looking for a mature and hands-on HR professional to manage day-to-day HR operations, systems and employee lifecycle processes from the Gurgaon office.

The role requires someone who is comfortable independently driving HR processes, maintaining strong process discipline and ensuring accurate and timely execution across HR operations.

Candidates with experience in apparel buying houses, sourcing organisations, liaison offices or similar environments will be preferred, though strong HR Operations professionals from other industries may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day HR Operations and employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, employee documentation and exits.
• Manage and maintain employee data, workflows and processes through the organisations HRMS platform.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of employee records, organisation structures, attendance/leave data and other HR information.
• Coordinate HRMS-related workflows, approvals, system updates, issue resolution and process improvements.
• Support payroll by ensuring timely and accurate submission of attendance, leave, new joiner, exit and other relevant employee inputs.
• Coordinate statutory HR and employee-related compliances in partnership with internal teams/external agencies.
• Manage employee documentation including offer/appointment letters, confirmation letters, increment letters, relieving and experience letters.
• Prepare and maintain regular HR MIS and dashboards covering headcount, attrition, employee movements and other key HR metrics.
• Support performance management, employee engagement and other HR initiatives as required.
• Respond to employee HR queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain HR SOPs, trackers and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve or automate HR processes and ensure effective implementation.
• Work closely with business managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth HR service delivery.

Candidate Profile

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in HR, with significant hands-on exposure to HR Operations.
• Strong practical experience working with an HRMS platform; experience with Darwinbox or HRX will be preferred.
• Experience with HRMS administration, employee data management, workflows and employee lifecycle processes.
• Good understanding of payroll inputs, HR documentation and statutory HR processes.
• Strong process orientation and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of operational HR responsibilities.
• Good stakeholder and employee-management skills.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and HR MIS/reporting.
• Mature, dependable and execution-focused approach.

Preferred Background

Candidates currently or previously working with apparel buying houses, sourcing organisations, liaison offices, export-linked organisations or similar environments will be preferred.

However, industry experience is not mandatory if the candidate has strong HR Operations and HRMS expertise.
